Massachusetts
After a year and a half of Covid restrictions, it was very important that we made it to Massachusetts to see my grandson Owen, preferably for his birthday, so we worked out the schedule to make it happen. It was priceless to see the surprised look on Owen's face when Kristen and I picked him up from school. Boy did he get ever get big, and smart. It is always a pleasure to spend time with him. He is so much fun. Grandchildren are amazing. He is brilliant, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so.
I also spend quality time with my daughter, Kristen. Cell phones are great, but there is nothing like spending time together. We had an amazing time going to lunch, doing some shopping and a few field trips which included a tour boat ride in Boston Harbor. The weather was fantastic. We really enjoyed walking around the city, including the area where Kristen and Adam lived when Owen was born. While that is a nice area, there current town is very nice, a great place to raise Owen.
