David and Stephanie Wedding June 15, 2019

In June I  flew to Florida to attend the wedding of my son, David Malmed, to his fiance Stephanie. My husband Dave and I have had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie and her family during this past winter on a number of occasions while we were in Florida.  All of our time spent with Stephanie and her family was very enjoyable.  It was a pleasure getting to know everyone.

The children are adorable,  and very charming.  The wedding was a beautiful, joyous occasion.  I know David will be a wonderful step dad.  It is obvious the kids love him, and he loves them.  They are his best buds.  This is a match made in heaven.  We are so excited for this new family as they begin their new life together.

As an added bonus,   my siblings and I  shared a house together for 3 days, just the four of us.  It was a great VRBO, conveniently located across the street from the church where the wedding was held.   It was great to spend time with three of the most important people in my life.  Not exactly like old times, but fun none the less.  We even enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach together.  One thing we all have in common, we all love to walk.  It was just great to all be together in one place,  celebrating a joyous occasion.

The four siblings also were able to make a trip to Jacksonville, and visit with Kristen, Adam and Owen, as they made their last preparations for the move back to Boston.  Their house was full of boxes, but it was great to see them off with a hug and a kiss as they left for their new adventure. What a busy weekend for the family.  Lots of changes, all of them happy.  It gave me a lot to think about when I flew back to Salt Lake City to return to Dave and a continuation of our awesome adventures.
