No Name Colorado

Just outside Glenwood Springs in a area called No Name we found the Jessie Weaver trail.

It seems all streams in the area are set up to provide the residents water.  You can see the old abandoned water flume, now replaced by more modern pipe.

Amazing

Bridges on trail we rather simple

Our walking sticks helped with balancing

We are getting used to the stony, narrow paths with drop offs on at least one side.

Four miles of a steep climb up the canyon carved by No Name Creek, to see if we could find the waterfall that we were told was there.   We never found the waterfall, in fact the dozen or so people we met along the trail never saw it.   Now the sights were worth the trip, and the people we met provided some great information on local trails, restaurants, hiking safety, and some dog adopted me as his friend and hiked with us even waited while we rested occasionally.
