We had a nice time in New Orleans, despite all the rain. It was our first trip there, and it was as we expected. Lots of music, restaurants, charming stores, and people.
It is a very lively city, full of people out to have fun. We lost one day because of a tremendous storm. We ventured out on the second day, and as predicted, we did not melt in the rain.
Our campground was actually within a mile of Bourbon Street, so we just walked to the downtown area. When the rains returned, we toured the city via street car. We found the Garden District to be beautiful, full of historic houses. Very charming. Definitely a fun place to be.

Try to find the best restaurant, Blackened Red fish and Craw fish on my mind |

When the rain let up, we headed for Cafe Du Monde for coffee and
beignets to start our day off with. |

Chosen form of travel was of course the Streetcar |

Just a little damp from rain but our spirits undampened |

Of course no tour of NOLA can be made without
roaming through a few cemeteries. Sue of course said they
needed to be power washed. |
