In 2018 Sue and I began our adventures by selling our home in Sebastian, Florida, we bought a RV and just took off where ever the winds took us in a wonderful adventure of exploring our country. From Florida to Maine and Oregon to California, and of course many places in between. We saw so many beautiful sites, national treasures, visited friends and family, and sought to learn much of the history we both ignored during our younger educational years.
After a breathtaking adventure that last a little over four years, We fell in love with the Ocala area and specifically a community named On Top Of The World ( more than appropriate after our touring) . We bought a house and began a new adventure. Ocala was our choice because of the numerous crystal clear springs here that we always loved to kayak in, the shaded and beautiful bike and hiking trails we found in the forests of the Northern Central part of Florida.
So now we traded our RV for a new home, bikes and kayaks, and we are off onto new adventures, and of course to meet new friends.
