As in past years, this winter we decided to return to Florida. We started by returning to Sebastian, visiting my sister Patti and Dave's children and grandchildren. Patti's son Devin visted from Japan, so we were lucky enough to spend some time with him, as well as a day at the beach. Its always great fun to spend time with him. We also spent time with David and Stephanie at their home, which was very nice. I also flew to Boston to visit my daughter and her family in their new home in the Boston suburbs. I am so glad I did, it was wonderful seeing the Curtiss' in their new house that they just moved into. Its a beautiful home, and are very happy there.
We also became annual passholders at Disney World. We spend a lot of time in the Orlando area, so we decided it would be a great place to walk around. It was fun, and not very crowded. So we visited with all our children and everyone was doing well, time to prepare for our next trip.
As we have previously reported, we purchased a new motor home in December. Our plans were to hang out in Florida for the winter, and head on out to our destinations in Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan, and Wisconsin starting April 1. We were trying to decide where to head from there, hoping to leave Michigan and go into Canada. And than the coronavirus happened, and our plans were put on hold. Fortunately we had this new RV with a larger refrigerator/freezer and a washer dryer. So we were all set to wait it out, but for how long? As it turns out it would be mid June before we were able to head out again.
Below are a couple of photos from our Winter in Florida.
