We left 3 Flags RV Park in Wildwood Florida on April 1 to begin our trip West. First stop, Pensacola, Florida. We arrived exhausted after a 7 hour drive. There was a little mix up with our reservations, thought it might be a April Fools joke. The staff made accommodations for us, and we were very grateful, this RV park is truly charming. We had a full day in Pensacola, and what a great day it was. We decided to go to the Naval Aviation museum, and we were lucky enough to be there in time to see the
Blue Angels practice. They were a great sendoff for the start of our trip across America. The day was full of surprises, such as a Spanish schooner, a lighthouse, and a walk out on the pier.
Tomorrow, we are heading for three days in the French Quarter of New Orleans. This is going to be a very exciting trip.
